Welcome to the Global Youth Climate Hackathon, hosted by the Youth Environmental Alliance! 🌍

This hackathon is open now until 12 AM IST, 16 DEC, inviting youth worldwide to collaborate on climate-positive solutions. Participants can join at any time before the deadline to submit creative, actionable ideas addressing real-world climate challenges, from clean air and water management to regenerative agriculture and sustainable energy.

Event Timeline:

 

  • Now – 12 AM, 16 DEC: Participants submit their solutions online

  • After 12 AM: Showcase of selected submissions on social media and PDF compilation

  • Recognition: Highlighted solutions will be shared globally by the Youth Environmental Alliance

Requirements

Participants should submit:

  1. A one-page or slide presentation of their solution (Canva, PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides).

  2. Optional media: Short video (30–60 sec) or image illustrating the idea.

  3. Include a title, brief description, and actionable steps for implementation.

  4. Optional: Link to live prototypes or digital designs.

  5. A written proposal (1000 words)

  6. A 2 - 3 minutes pitch video

 

Goal: Creativity and impact matter more than format; submissions can be local, digital, or globally scalable.

    How original and imaginative is your solution? We’re looking for ideas that think outside the box, use innovative approaches, and bring fresh perspectives to climate challenges.
  • Feasibility & Impact
    Could your solution realistically be implemented? How much positive environmental or social impact could it generate if applied locally or globally?
  • Clarity & Presentation
    Is your submission clear and easy to understand? Are your ideas well-organized, visually appealing, and compelling for judges and the audience?
  • Collaboration & Engagement
    Did your solution involve teamwork, community engagement, or cross-border collaboration? We value ideas that bring people together to create meaningful change.
